The Elfardi (sometimes called Elfardian) System is a small binary system of three planets, not to be confused with the system's star, Elfardi. In 2295, the Elfardi System was one of the most hostile systems known to the Federation, with the exception of Klendathu. It is reported that nearly hourly warfare exists, with Hrothgar seeming to be the center of attention. All Federal vessels must report to Code Orange when entering the system, and are not permitted to deploy on Hrothgar without strict authorization. All civilian vessels are prohibited from visiting Hrothgar.
In 2297, the Elfardi System has been completely declared off-limits to all vessels lacking SICON authorization.
